Losing What I’ve Found

Philosophy is not a realm I am comfortable in or know much about. In a certain English class I took, our prompt for our final piece was simply to write about an idea that matters to you. I had a lot of room to roam here and I am pretty happy with my finished piece. It was a lot of work and I have more drafts and random scribblings for this piece than any other this year. It was the kind of piece I got so caught up in that I would involuntarily start thinking about it when I was on the treadmill at the gym or in the middle of listening to another lecture or pumping gas. I talked to everyone around me about it (I sincerely thank you all for listening!) and it is probably one of the most honest pieces of writing I have ever produced. I did what I set out to do, I hope you enjoy it.
